Mnandi: My latest Obsession

This brand new Mnandi just came in.

I have an issue though, the action is gritty on close... I suspect it is the detent track not worn in yet, because when I disengage the lock bar it goes away. Anyone have this similar problem?

No pics but I still carry my snake wood Mnandi I purchased in 2011. I own the small sebenza, rockstead Higo, swiss army, buck, and hinderer xm-18 from 2005, but I still carry the Mnandi. Its action is extra smooth, I can't stop holding the wood handle and the blade is easy to keep sharp. Its small, but I can't help but like carrying it.

^^^^ Nice ^^^^...so Mnadis are being traded as commodities now?:p

Maybe not yet...if not fungible, LIQUID FOR SURE!

What? Only three zebras, three snakeskins, countless mammoths -- you call that a collection? It's barely a sampling.

(Translation: wow! That's unbelievable.)
