Well, thank you for that, but the truth is that there are a lot of great photos in this thread, yours included. It has probably taken my half an hour to type just this little bit because I keep getting lost in them.

I gotta admit. Even on a small blade .... that River of Fire looks fabulous! Congrats Franz. I just wish CRK did more pieces in River of Fire ..... OR that he would have plans to do some using Feather Damascus (another of my favorite patterns).

Just arrived this morning. Very interesting inlay, it has a 3D appearance but is very smooth. Definitely a keeper.

Happy day! I picked up a Mnandi in my favorite inlay: Desert Ironwood. I wish CR still used it. It's one of the hardest woods in the world, it has a beautiful grain pattern, and I love the way it fluoresces in sunlight.
