Mnandi: My latest Obsession

That is indeed Ti used for the inlay and thanks much for the kind words. :)

Ok Haze...Re enlighten us about how that ti mnandi came to be. I remember reading a long time ago something that you had written about the process etc..maybe I'm just making more of it than you had written?

That Mnandi is just the product of my musings. :p I have always thought a plain Ti Mnandi would be a nice little user so out side of that a Ti inlay Mnandi is the next best thing. It is heavier of course but the knife carries the extra weight well, the tumbled blade turned out to be a nice finishing touch I think. :)

I have to agree - it really adds to an already stealthy/tactical look. Very cool work.

This beautiful Box Elder joined the collection this afternoon...

I keep hoping Lisa will do some graphics on a few of them.

DC that is a fine choice for your first Mnandi. Looks like a pleasing grain pattern and a close match for both inlays. Congratulations, that's a nice one! :)

thanks DH, it matches an AA forge fixed blade I have very nicely. the box elder I have in bound matches a Diving Sparrow Fallkniven F1 I have too. they will be carry companions. ill post some group shots when the box elder arrives

This one doesn't hold a candle to SaddleSC or masterserg's new ones but this is my newest. Box Elder Burl, arrived today

I really like your BE, Daisy Cutter. It stands up to the best of the others, iMO. I prefer the creamy yellow color to the reddish ones. They remind me of ivory. What is good about BE is that you can get either color.

The photography in these posts is outstanding! Brings life to so many of these inlays and enhances the beautiful color. Every inlay is unique. Something for every taste.

My first, a Bloodwood from 2007, just arrived at the post office. Got a feeling this is gonna be the start of a problem...
