Mnandi: My latest Obsession

Thanks to the generosity of one of our forum members, I am able to post this photo of a trio of Gold & Diamond Mnandis. I recently acquired the Snakewood version and made a trade for the Ebony version this week. It was not totally painless, we each gave up a knife that we would not have otherwise parted with. I should also mention there was another forum member that made the trade possible; he gave up his right of first refusal on the Mnandi I traded. Thanks guys!
Now for the pic.

Dayum, sk8n! I'm picking my jaw up from the floor!

Absolutely amazingly beautiful trio of Mnandis!

Kind regards,

Now that's what I am talking about absolutely amazing and a great story to go with them. CRK collectors are the most incredible to work with in the knife world!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

This thread reeks of dead trees.....

These knives are amazing to look at and people have some really nice collections.

I was after my first CRK, a left handed small Sebenza micarta insigno. I had to place an order to get one, as I was waiting I found this thread. This thread is informative , breathtaking , and tough on the wallet. In the past few weeks I have found a new BE, and a 2007, left handed mammoth, that shares my birthday. I figured it was a once in a lifetime find so I purchased it. I have carried it in its case since I have owned it. I really want a Sebenza, but every Mnandi is a work of art and I have an eye on two others. (No funds)
I hope I can share these photos with you. Thanks for sharing your pics and stories. One member here has given me some advice and encouragement to get me started, I am hooked now.

Just spent another hour or more in this epic thread.
It's very easy to get lost in admiring all the beauty.

Is it wrong for me to say I would take down the last Mammoth on earth (if they still existed) with my Sebenza, so I would have pure white ivory to make Mnandi's for my fellow Blade members. Is that wrong?
