Mnandi: My latest Obsession

Thanks Lisa, I would love to see some more pictures.

I don't think I've ever posted these old pictures, hope you guys and gals like them.

Purchased yesterday, arrived today!

Full sun photos, I'll have to work on my photo skills as this looks nicer than I can capture.

Wow!!

What were you looking for in the Mnandi that would have convinced you to keep it?

I guess it just did not fit my EDC currently. Ive always had (have) a swiss army knife on my keys that is used for everything; when else is needed I use my BM mini barrage 586. Since my keys are always on me, the swiss army knife goes into every outfit (and its a Tiffany silver one so it dressed up well). If I kept the Mnandi it would be like owning an iPhone, iPad Mini, and a regular iPad. I only need 2/3.

Thanks agile! There are many jaw dropping photos and collections in this thread, mine is just one of many.

I have spent the last few days reading this thread and have a new appreciation for the beauty of the Mnandi. But, more than that, I have enjoyed visting the community of such nice people. Not one time did I sense any bickering or jealousy. Just the opposite...When someone would "snag" a rare treasure that several were trying for, as soon as the winner was announced there were instant congrats and high fives. How refreshing! I will continue living vicariously through you and enjoying your latest Mnandi "finds".

2 Large (Snakewood and African Blackwood) and 2 Small Sebenza 21's (African Blackwood and Bloodwood) for now.....but, who knows???

I have to agree with Retired guy! I really thought that I would never purchase a Mnandi. I started looking at this thread and a couple others about Mnandi's. And I grew a great appreciation and love for the knife, through all these great people and their posts. They really are the pinnacle of gentlemans folders. Now I too own one!! Haha! Irony a great thing!! I have been shown a the beauty of these great folders. CRK people are great poeple!

This thread is indeed full of splendid knives and splendid people.

No doubt there are a great bunch of Mnandi enthusiasts throughout this thread. If someone beats me out on a Mnandi I genuinely hope it is a forum member, especially one that contributes to this thread. I do not think I am the only one here that feels this way.

We need a photo. :)

Totally speechless at some of these collections, absolutely beautiful. Haven't owned one of these in a while but may have a need for a smaller part-time edc soon. I was wondering if a Mnandi expert could give their opinion on the ease of opening, especially one-handed, of the newer style nail nick. Thanks and please keep the incredible pics coming!

Just received this beauty from a proper class act and friend.

Sort of a transitional beast, with the old clip and nick and new pivot. Not to mention the spiro blade.

She already looks quite happy in her new home!!!! Enjoy her my friend!

Bumping it back to the top with my newest Mnandi .... a Cocobolo with an interesting grain. Not the best photos today, but they'll give you an idea of what she looks like.
