Here are a couple of pics of the CBT and Full Flat Grind versions of the awesome MOABOLO.

The FFG is a whisker longer than the CBT version, and obviously the grinds are significantly different. The CBT appears to be a hair thicker than the FFG too and is noticeably heavier.

Interesting how different the location of the plunge line is also on these two, not that you would ever need to choke up for fine work with these beasts:D

Well you can actually. With a little care and control, it's not that difficult to do. Granted, it's not a little AMS, but the AMS won't chop through seasoned ironbark logs either :D

Very cool you've got the blades to pull off those pics.

If you could only have one, which one would it be?

Does one feel more comfortable to choke up on than the other?

Ok so the cbt version is cheaper, harder to strip, and shorter. I'm not sure how someone could say that it is better, especially since none I've ever seen were used... It seems to me that if it costs less then they spent less time on it.

Actually the CBTs were more expensive. The original custom shops were offered at 1200, and the CBTs were 1247. Not a huge difference...but it's there!

Thank you Rob for the side by side pics.

This particular knife has drove me a little crazy :) that 3/8" difference has been tough on the sheath maker.

Anyhow love this knife almost as much as the MOAB, it is really close in performance.
Chops very well and the CBT adds a bit of flare.

My CBT has been Used ? :)

Also my Camo one was 1400.00 + tax at Blade 2015 direct from Busse, so some were a bit more that 1200.00 or 1245.00 just for full disclosure, congrats to those that got the super Ganza deals.
Mine does have black g-10 scales though. :D

They both look great. I would have a hard time trying to only chose one or the other.

Agreed both look awesome and will perform great-But the CBT just makes them look SICK-In a good way-Thanks for the Pictures and Info guys!!!

Funny the regular base price to buy one when they came out was $1397, so.... That means that if I want to sell my INFI WTF I have to sell it for the early bird price.....not what the slow pokes payed
