Me too. I definitely like the Mobil1 better for final polishing but I will try water and Windex again for the coarser grits.

Windex on that Rhynowet Redline 120-280 cuts like a champ. I haven't used mobile 1, but have used TapMagic and a 5-30W synthetic blend on Norton Black Ice and that is a clean finish with 220+

I've been using Mobil 1 V-Twin Synthetic 20-50 on my guns for a few years now, stuff seams to work wonders on everything...

never thought to use it for wet sanding, I'll have to give that a go..
