Modded BK16S

Awesome! I don't think I have lusted after a Becker quite this bad, except for the BK12 maybe. Can't wait to get one
 
That is gorgeous, Clich. Nice work. I like how the lasered letters are now nearly invisible under the etch.
 
Ok now send me that one Cilch, and I will send you the one I have coming so you can treat it the same way ..lol.
That thing looks very good with your mods man, I actually really like that you can still see Ethan's sig on it.
 
Dang that came out nice, Did you etch the sig further into it or is it that deep on its own?
 
Hijack alert..... Didn't want to make another thread... So hope you don't mind me jumping in the pool with you Clich.... Lol
Etching was deep enough....I also like the brown scales until micarta his the streets.
Sriracha hot sauce stripes..... Vinagar bath for 30 minutes....

Neat . . . but somehow I thought the etching would be more visible after stripping. Still . . . comforting to know Ethan's signature survives!

Uh oh clich, you modded it. I guess you lose your Beckerhead number. I know I will too when mine gets here. Looks great. Got any plans for changing the handle?

Hell no. Think of how comfortable Becker handles are. Then add the silky smooth feeling of lingerie still on a victorias secret model. Then multiply by 1357 and that is how ergonomic and comfortable these handles are. Only thing I'm gonna change is adding micarta. they even added a little grippiness to the zytel. Kinda camillus feeling. Its all around an excellent excellent product.

Thanks. Sure thing. Ill do whatever you want. You want the signature etch deeper and more permanent? Ill use etchent and make it deeper then antique it so it stand our more. You want it gone ill sane it out and antique it. I owe you man just name it

Clich, really nice looking mods as always. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that you're the first to have modded their blade :D

It'll look even better with some micarta, but like you said this new zytel is really great. I've got micarta on all my full size Beckers but this one I don't know, might just keep it.

Rivertamer, I'm usually not a huge fan of the tiger stripe patina but yours looks great, especially with the handle color. Nice work.
