Model 14, Border Patrol Handle/Nickel Silver guard

Sheldon,

I need to get one of them out to be sure, but I am fairly certain that the Nordic Special has a convex grind.

Yep, Ironwood, supplied to the shop by Nordic Knives.

Oh, and I am an early riser.

In an attempt to get back on subject, I have a similarly-equipped Model 16 SP#1: Nickel Silver Hilt and Black Micarta Border Patrol Handle. Here she is:

Officers, officers, can't we all just act like gentlemen and get along...lol

Hopefully dirty water will chime in on this one, but IIRC, Bruce is right, 'all' RMK's are hollow ground, even the Model #11, #25(s), the A.G. Russell Special, the Nordic Bowie, the larger Bowie models, etc...

p.s. Question - "I've always wondered what he was captain of..." Answer - a shrimp trawler, named 'Jenny'...(Forrest Gump reference)

Aw shucks, me and Admiral Samael as just funnin'!

So it's "boat captain" not Army Captain (03) or Navy Captain (06)? However, I suddenly have a hankerin' for fried shrimp!

This thread has some of the most beautiful Randall knives (to me) I've seen! ...and some of the best photos! I really gravitate to the styles represented here, which is why I own some!

About the grinds, I checked that Nordic Special last night, and it definitely has a convex grind, at least for the primary (lower) grind. And, as you can see in the photo, it is full-height.
