I like the shape of the blade. It’s got real face slapping potential. The Condor "Undertaker" (*complete with a "coffin" handle) is another fun Bowie to play with...

Without duplicating the knives I posted in that link, here are a couple old pics of another, one of my favorites, Busse Forsaken Battle Mistress:I think there is room for a few more.. Very nice.
Appreciate it J.J.! Just got the Black Eagle Strike Team (B.E.S.T.) and it is dope! Incredible quality as per usual with TOPS. It’s already in my Top 3 of my TOPS collection. Love the ergos, and it’s definitely a blade heavy beast. Super comfortable handle. Got a few more Tops to get before my collection is complete!Great TOPS collection, Brother.![]()
Now, I'm feeling a bit "inadequate" in the "TOPS" department...![]()
I can’t believe I forgot about Busse, they make some of the best modern midtech bowies.Without duplicating the knives I posted in that link, here are a couple old pics of another, one of my favorites, Busse Forsaken Battle Mistress:

Dawson makes some killer stuff.Barry Dawson N°58 Sheffield Bowie, 1980s Durango period, ~9" long x ~¼" thick blade, fully sharpened false edge, no filework, desert ironwood scales, unadorned brass pins, steel uncertain. The edge is incredibly hard. It's pretty much a short sword. I've sold off most of my impractical knives but this one I just can't part with.

This is a TM Hunt "Big Bear" Bowie...

I have had MMHW and they do make very good knives. That one looks the part for sureHere a modern Bowie custom made for me by Ted Frizzell and Kyel Kidder of Mineral Mountain Hatchet works. They make awesome and indestructible knives, especially for the money.View attachment 2169004
Love the Prather, I asked tops if they would do a run in 3v no reply yet.View attachment 2169299
