Modern Classics: What are your favorite big folders from the 70's through 90's?

I still have a Puma Game Warden I bought bought back in 1970 for the outrageous price of $23 dollars. :D (for comparison purposes, in 1970 you could buy a model 94 Winchester lever action rifle at K-Mart for $49.95)

The Kershaw Folding Field 1050 is a very nice knife. A very sturdy and heavy knife. The suggested retail on this knife was $250.00 but I got this one for $175.00. I think the price is what made this knife a slow seller for Kershaw. Kershaw also made a matching fixed blade companion knife version of this knife.

I love the 1050 and I carried one for years.
In the early 80's driving in an ice storm from Pittsburgh to Atlanta I witnessed an accident. I stopped and noticed that the car had it's plastic bumper stuck between the wheel and the fender.
Before we could push the car I cut the plastic bumper off with my 1050.......Love that knife!

Not sure if you consider this "beefy" enough, but my '71 Case Sodbuster went through some stuff and still has that snap when you close it. Still have it.
