Modern hand forged axes with flat cheeks ?

I'll order from Toronto Blacksmith when he has the Finnish Forest Axe back in stock. I'm a sucker for collared axes...

My suggestion as well. Seems the best guy for it. Another possible maker would be Old Dominion Forge, as the fellow has a divine ability to capture the look of genuine antiques. He's best known for his knives and swords, but has done axes and tomahawks that look quite nice and I imagine he could produce such a piece and copy it with exquisite accuracy.
 
I can think of 4-5 smiths right off the top of my head who still make that style of axe on order. Your more apt to find a smith to do it that does not do production run style work. Axes of that style of the time were often made from 4 different pieces. Unlike colonials and the French/basque style axes. Lots of great smiths out there that don't advertise a lot.
 
The Hudson Bay I have from Brent Bailey has a very nice centerline. I know I've posted pics of it somewhere.
