Modern looking folders...

I thought this was pretty nice and worthy of adding to this collection here. It doesn't compete with some others shown already but it's still nice.

Alexander Dietz is modifying the Boker Kwaiken to new heights of awesomeness. Custom scales and he cuts down the scale near the end of the handle to expose the blade tang and turns it into a flipper...

Any photos? I'd love to see that! The one problem I've heard is that the edge is too close to being exposed when closed. If you can cut yourself when it's closed that's no bueno. If that's fixed, it's a winner in my book.

I think a lot of people think of minimal and classic still comes to mind. Minimal is a better word, I'll give you that.

This knife is sweet by the way.

A Thiers knife....see I told you! :D

There's a couple I saw in carbon fiber if you find wood too old fashioned!
 
the kwaiken is awesom i just got mine in a few weeks back. make sure you get the one with the bigger thumbdisc from bladehq tho makes it much easier on the fingers:D

The other thing I'm concerned with is that I hear you can actually cut yourself with the blade closed. That's no bueno. I want one once that's all fixed. Actually, I want like 3
