Sorry maybe I misread something in your post, but in the past 3.5 months you tried to contact him and have heard nothing?!
Was there a completion date promised when you sent him the knife?
 
Originally it wasn't supposed to be more than a few months. He wanted to use the knife to make some scale templates, which I agreed to.

I didn't hear from him from 4/25/14 to 08/08/14 was what I meant.
 
In return for the opportunity to make templates with the knife. He was going to make me some bushcraft style scales for it at a discount.
 
And you still haven't heard from him, while attempting to contact him?

This is what I don't get. He will not return PM's/emails?

He's quite active on this site....

I am interested on a personal level, as I have followed a lot of his threads/work and would like him to do some work for me eventually.
 
I had pretty good communication with him early on, but during the large gap in communication I didn't attempt to contact. I had just started a new job and was kind of tired of inquiring about it.
 
Send him a PM or email now. I know he's really busy. Not an excuse, but maybe he forgot or got side tracked.
I doubt there is any malice here....

I am sure he will make it right, he should send you the knife back now with free scales for your absurd wait, but you need to continually keep communication going, even though he should try to do the same....
 
Last PM I received from him boss was almost a month ago. I had sparing contact with him last month, and have no intention of mudslinging. But contact wasn't going to solve much in my opinion, at that point. I just started this to, in a way, coax the ball into rolling.
 
Got it now. Strange. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if this resolves things for you.....

He has 100% feedback and a high priced membership here. What makes anyone think he won't send it back? Just trying to stir things up by saying no?
 
Think positive. I had a good experience with Bella.
But, in the past, I had my moments with a pimper. Not a BF pimper, btw. He had three folders of mine and I really thought those were goners but... I finally got them back.
Try to get a solid answer from Bella.

I had a poor experience with buying a knife from him. He took a long time to ship. Asked me if I wanted a lanyard that was already promised in the for sale thread. He "forgot" the lanyard. Made excuses. None of this stuff was egregious enough for a thread here or poor feedback. Heck, I didn't even need the lanyard. I can make a better one anyway. It was the principal of the fact that is was promised in the for sale thread, I had to haggle to get it, and he still never sent it. Another thing that was odd was the knife was fully disclosed to have some staining on the tip of the blade. No problem there. When I got it there was a lot of it and it was quite dark. Still no issue as it was disclosed. It only took me 5 minutes with some polish to remover. Wouldn't a great knife pimper have done this himself? Nothing really wrong with this, it just sat funny with me.

I wouldn't deal with him again.

To the OP, I hope you get your knife back. Is he aware of this thread?
 
It's been 8 months. You did him a favour by letting him
Use your Southard as a mule, and he hasn't answered any PM's or emails from you in months....
I am starting to lean towards Knifein's very simple post, and my earlier optimism is leaving me.
