"Molly" 1095

Dan,
Have you considered a Molly with different scales....something that would enable a better/non-slippery grip when your hand is sweaty or just simply wet? The woods are beautifulbut slippery when wet and this knife would have a good chance of having wet hands some of the time and as a larger knife better control when the grip is tight and secure.....

Syd, Yes we have definitely considered using other materials. bocote just ended up on this first one. we plan to make more in the future with micarta, G-10, or Neoprene as well

Thanks guaise, I'm a big fan if the bocote on this one as well,
but I also love your guys suggestions of doing some with micarta or G-10.

The next one you guys see this size will be a 9" version of Jenni, sporting black G-10 liners under brown canvas micarta. with a leather sheath. Sorry nevermore, my kydex work isn't up to par yet, I still need some practice time before you see us offering kydex sheaths,you should be seeing them sometime this summer though.
