Monday- Friday Go to Work in a Suit and Tie People, show me your EDC!

A Spyderco Gayle Bradley Air would make a really nice office knife. It is super light weight but extremely strong. Beautiful knife, too.

It really is awful but that's how NYC is. I'm not one to rock the boat. And by and large the laws are to protect citizens. There are so many violent criminals and crazies in NYC it might even be for the best.

Seriously? There aren't any violent criminals in NYC anymore...we've for something far worse....hipsters. Now those are some scary mf'ers.

It'd be interesting to walk around NYC with a Ig folder just because.

I do it everyday.

That's great that you do! I don't as I have to walk through metal detectors regularly because of what I do. I'm settling on an Alex cadet I the meantime.

I work in an office environment. I range from Benchmark Barrage to ZT0560 to Contego 810.

Decided to carry my "new" Benchmade Bedlam (thanks Craytab!) today. Because why not?? :)

Sorry for the horrid photo!

I'm going to recommend a Leatherman Juice or a Leatherman Squirt. You get a knife, and a whole bunch of other tools, plus different colors so you can have one to match every tie you own.

Because it's not a knife, it's a multitool;)

I have a pretty extensive EDC rotation, mostly on the inexpensive end of the spectrum, but if it's a relatively formal environment, I usually carry the Benchmade North Fork my wife gave me last Father's Day.

Attire is not quite as important as the company policies. Read up on those quietly (rather than asking around) when you get there.

Good advice indeed..................Alox Pioneer.

Fairly new to the forum . . . suit and tie here too, but still find uses for one or both knives most days . . .

Normally a Caly 3.5 CF/ZDP-189 for the bigger knife, but recently got a Viper Dan2 for UK-legal carry as we travel over there fairly often (my wife is from there) and am carrying it a lot lately--great, unusual design that feels amazing in the hand and is very capable despite not having a lock.

The blue Alox Cadet has been a mainstay since it arrived in 2015, regardless of what bigger knife I carry (or even if I don't carry any).

Obligatory add: my colleagues think I'm nuts, of course.

Kizer clipless has been a nice dressy carry, and disappears in my pocket like a small sebenza.

In my office I go with either Victorinox Bantam or Secretary, both are in alox. They are so thin and ride like a dream freefloating in my backpocket. They are more or less unoticable even when sitting down on hard surfaces.

When I have to wear a suit a GEC #99 Wall Street is a good choice for me. Thin, light, classy.

Normally I carry my Lionsteel TRE. Good size, flexible use and doesn't look too "scary." Other days I will carry my William Henry B10 with wave Damascus.

I like that WH B10!!!

I EDC a small snakewood Sebenza, but I'm always looking for something "better." A Mnandi may be a more polite office knife and is next on my list.

I don't work in that world any longer, but if I did, it would be small Sebenza probably.

Office-wallah signing in.

I generally carry a Squeak all the time- it's friendly shaped and sized (that little flat blade doesn't look 'stabby' for the knife-shy folks)

There's always a Clipitool (the prybar/bottle opener variant) on my keys too.

Though the Sprint run Micro Dyad has been a recent addition

When wearing something lighter coloured, I do like the classic Goddard in white micarta too
