Whoa, I didn't know the Hard Magic sequel was out:) Sitting in my Amazon cart as I type:D

I do wish these were available via Kindle.

Jake - enjoy 'Spell Bound'! It's like book 1, in that in emmerses you in alternate history to the point where it feels real.
Larry has a gift for story telling.

I recomend the audio for both serries, the narrators are both top notch.

i've written him suggesting he check out the bonecutter or perhaps introduce a falcata but otherwise "right on"

actually, i bought "Dead Six" a couple months ago.

interesting too is getting on his good list, and getting advance forward e-copies as proofs. hasn't happened for me yet, but i seem to recall buying one of the monster books as an early Baen/Tor release at least.

Larry not only writes great fiction, but a lot of Constitutional position pieces that rock, as well. I ran across him at WeTheArmed, where everyone is a fan of his.
He's on my list of people to meet and have a few beers with ... :)
