Moore Maker Boys Knife

You guys are killing me! I want to be a good boy and not buy any more knives until my reserved GEC #23 is ready, but these look so nice for the price ...

My #23 Micarta LL is way down the list, I figure I have time to recoup. :D

That's true. I have a mesquite LL reserved so theoretically I'm last on the list. Pretty sure my wife doesn't believe I'm not going to buy another knife until July anyway:cool:

So am I completely missing the fact that these are a limited run and won’t be around like a production knife would be? I thought this was a knife I could get now, a year from now, etc... but limited production makes a difference.

Compared too...?

To the earlier knives, however I can clearly see these knives are different in size. These are closer to the 15s in size, and the proportions are overall different as explained in the earlier posts.

Is there any need to put a coat of anything over that ash wood to protect its longevity?

BP there's no need to coat them with anything. The wood is stabilized, meaning it's impregnated under vacuum with a resin that hardens when cured so in a way it's pre-varnished.

ea42 ea42 Hi Eric, hope you are well. As long as you are giving us a peak beneath the covers so to speak, can you give any insight on the change in how the nail nicks are cut?
