Man, that's a beauty!

Mine came in. From the outside, it's a stunning knife. F&F is great, and shield placement is tight.




Now I don't like to nitpick, but I am a little disappointed in the blade finish. The mark side has a blotch. It looks like a flaw in the steel that can't be buffed out easily.


That I can probably live with, but the pile side, there is a "divot" next to the etch. Looks maybe like the etching process strayed a bit.



I'm not one to easily complain, but I paid a fair dollar for this knife. I was planning to put it up in the collection, but I don't think this qualifies as a safe queen. To me, it's also a hassle to send it back. Maybe I 'll put it into rotation.

It's a shame to make it a user just because it has blemishes. I love the pattern, and the work on it is outstanding overall.
