Moosez Challenge Discussion Thread

Since im married can i bring my wife? i just dont think she'll believe that im spending the 48 hrs in the woods and not vegas :D Of course i would do all the work, but for two people, double the difficulty. what say thee?
 
I have a question or 2. And I would like to hear about others thoughts on this one..pretty cool ideas.

I noticed you don't allow for a blanket or hammock, tarp... Is this intentional? I am wondering only due to the amount of insects in my neck of the woods. Is insect juice allowed at least. I am thinking that lyme disease or illness's from flying insects aren't much fun. I am cool if it isn't allowed, but I hate buzzing insects...they drive me nuts.
I am thinking that maybe a bug hammock would be cool, but maybe I am being a wimp...I don't know. Maybe a head net and towel or something.

Just throwing out my 2 cent, and that's all its worth. :D

I wish I could do the add for Becker, but I am afraid of that mess, if I tried it.

Afraid of the dark? Or does she just want to go along. I only ask, because unless she's going for the fun of the challenge, then she's gonna hate you something terrible.

I had invisioned the epic tale as told only by yourself. More Stroud, less Grylls.

Choice is yours to make, how it effects the contest, well, we'll see once you entered.

hmm didnt even think of bug spray. looks like my shelter will need to be real close to the fire

Yeah, its intentional. The idea is to hit it, like we talk about. Rough out, only the bare essential. Bugs be damned, throw some greenwood on the fire, and smoke'em outta camp. Its a chance to take the challenge, and challenge yourself.

To some, what I got listed there, is going camping, to others, its something they have never done. The choice is yours.

If I could find some bush to go play survivorman for a couple days, I would. But alas, I'm stuck in an urban jungle, and probably wont be able to find a decent spot in time. Which really sucks, because Survival bushcraft is my main passion...Looking at Moose's list, I'd say thats MORE than enough to make it through a week. Wait, only 2 days? I'd stand in the rain for 48 hours without a bathroom break if it gave me a chance at a BK10!

question: can said commercial be humorous? serious? some of each for the 8 minutes?
 
I know, i dont think i could be more excited than lasts month challenge and the bar we made :D (bars rock) but now i wanna get in the woods right now.

This contest should cover most areas, if you can't camp, make movies, if you can't make movies, camp. If you can't do either, well, there will be another contest along shortly, I'm sure.
