Arrived the other day in a set with the axe. Both are keepers, axe for the pack and Mora 2000 for the kitchen. Will put the Nimravus back in the rotation. Was in the kitchen for a while but needs to get out more.

Anyone else out there that doesn't like kitchen knives in the kitchen?

I used my USMC Ka-Bar as my only kitchen knife for almost a year in my first apartment :D

Heh! Been there and done that, Buck268! Nowadays I'm like RescueRiley, a stainless clipper is my most-used kitchen knife.

The M2K is a great kitchen tool, but it's a better outdoors tool, so it goes when I go.

does anyone else think the m2k looks like someone skinned a ninja turtle and barfed all over it? other than that I'm sure its a great knife.

My bushman makes a great kitchen knife, and I use a mora for smaller stuff, both work better then many kitchen knives I have owned.
It's funny though, I will not pay more then 20 bucks for a kitchen knife, but I will shell out 100 bucks for a woods knife no problem.

I love my M2K. It is an amazing little cutter. I carry it comfortably IWB on all of my outdoor adventures.

When I first saw a picture of the M2000 a tear or two ago, I thought it was the ugliest knife I've ever seen. I finally bought one a few weeks ago. Now that I've seen it in person, I must say that it's gone from ugly to just weird looking. The thing is, I'm starting to like the way it looks. It's weirdness is growing on me.

Forgetting it's looks, the handle feels great, and the knife and sheath weigh just a few ounces. I can't believe I'm this excited about a $25 weird looking knife.

Thanks--
Have you ever used the AXE??

I just got this today. Really interesting blade!

What a cool knife, and a good pic by the way.

The great thing about Moras is that I get to lust after something obtainable for a change.

Soon...

I'm really amazed at how practical it is. I've had it 1/2 a day. I did the photo this AM on my hike and then preped dinner with it at home later. It slices, pares and bones like a dream! I'm going to use it as a back up for my Ranger Outdoorsman. It's in my main backpack already ;) My Swedish Mora 2000
