I'm probably the only one on these forums that actually likes the sheath!

No...I like it too. Aesthetically, it matches the knife. It works for a lefty. And it's secure enough for anything I'm ever likely to do.

cliff's 'average' knife is three times the price of the mora2k. through the review he compares it to knives with much higher price tags and finds no significant differences.

I picked up a Mora 2000 a couple of years ago. I like it , very comfortable handle . The blade is thinner than the common red handled shorter blade knives. It sharpens up fine , good camp knife for food prep and the usual odd jobs.
