I’ll consider it a blessing to grow up in a free state.Ufortunately,a lot of people dom't have that option.
I do in most places.
When I can't, it's a stout cane.
I train with this also but not at the range.![]()
Apology retractedPolitics in PA please.
Apology retracted
I do also but know when to leave the political crap out of a conversation about a Mora sheath.I’ll consider it a blessing to grow up in a free state.
Well ain’t that just special? I’m not your bro.I do also but know when to leave the political crap out of a conversation about a Mora sheath.
Take it to PA with your bros
I certainly hope not.Well ain’t that just special? I’m not your bro.
According to some here, your post would be considered an attack. I think you just wanted to get your 2 cents in, which makes you one of the blowhards you are talking about. This is not a Practical Tactical thread, so I propose y'all stop the weenie wagging. The OP lives in Europe, can't carry a gun, has a question related to knife retention, and doesn't need a civics lecture from marginally informed blowhards.
L LostCause , the Ulti Clip works well for me for a Dawson kydex sheath. I never lose it out of my pocket on the draw, so you might try that. Etsy has a lot of folks selling leather Mora sheaths that might just do the trick, too. The 511 is a common enough knife that you can probably get a ready made sheath right away.
I think you're on the right track. Best of luck!

While I agree with most of this (legislating against what one "might" do = BAD), We The People live in a Republic (not a Democracy). Unfortunately, many Americans today are living in ignorance of what our Forefathers fought so hard to create for us :-/We don't - but we live in a democracy. It ain't perfect but it's far better than the other options.
You don't know what anyone is going to do in the future, and you are trying to react and/or stop a crime that hasn't been committed. It's called pre-judgment and it pushes us one step closer to losing democratic freedom of choice and your constitutional rights, even when no crime has been committed.
Example: You see a guy drinking out on his porch every night. I guess you think he should lose his driver's license because he MIGHT drink and drive and kill someone. Better impound his car too, while you're at it, right?
You cannot legislate "might". And if you give the government the ability to do so, you are now living in a communist state, comrade.
No. Actually I think he's talking about you.According to some here, your post would be considered an attack. I think you just wanted to get your 2 cents in, which makes you one of the blowhards you are talking about.
PA please. While I agree with most of this (legislating against what one "might" do = BAD), We The People live in a Republic (not a Democracy). Unfortunately, many Americans today are living in ignorance of what our Forefathers fought so hard to create for us :-/
Example:
A few quotes from our Framers related to a "Democracy":
The Framers knew that in its pure form democracy could be dangerous. The writings of the founding era are replete with warnings of this fact:
- “Real liberty is not found in the extremes of democracy, but in moderate governments,” Alexander Hamilton wrote. “If we incline too much to democracy we shall soon shoot into a monarchy, or some other form of a dictatorship.”
- Thomas Jefferson lamented that “a democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where 51 percent of the people may take away the rights of the other 49.”
- James Madison argued that democracies “have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”
- John Adams concluded that democracy “never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”

The Hill: The United States is not a democracy—and it wasn't meant to be one
In the United States, the people rule, but only through institutions designed to protect the individual and minority from the tyranny of the majority.pacificlegal.org
You still haven’t told me who Brandon in PA is.No. Actually I think he's talking about you.
This post is about Mora sheath retention.
Discussions about 2nd Amendment rights belong in the Political Arena sub forum. I believe there is an existing post on the subject there.
That's not too hard to understand without getting personal is it
It certainly good practice for when I go partridge hunting. So which is it? Are you using your shotgun to kill people or to trap shoot? This statement totally contradicts your previous statement of being a trap shooter.
It's certainly a more efficient defensive weapon against stray dogs than a knife that's for sure.Ufortunately,a lot of people dom't have that option.
I do in most places.
When I can't, it's a stout cane.
