I think I'll probably hold onto it at this point. That was done over twenty years ago (in 1989), and it's a little less than it was when it was new. Somehow, it's gotten a little scuffed over the years.:(

Thanks for the suggestion, though. I have some other old stuff that I might consider putting up on one of those sites.

Hey Dawson Bob....

Please private message me with your phone # .....We gotta do SOMETHING with your work....Very cool indeed....

All Best....

Maybe custom sheaths or thirts and hats

All things may be possible when things are firmed up at some point, depending on what Mr. Becker wants to do.

Well, I'm not sure about "thirts".:D T-shirts, however, are certainly an option.

dawsonbob, it looks like Ethan wants to do something with your ideas, good deal! There's no way anything would have happened without some strong visuals (don't know the jargon in your industry:) )to get Mr. Becker's attention. Good luck.

I would not mind to see some patches (like I said earlier) taking shape. :)
#7 is begging to become a patch!

I just got off the phone with Ethan a little while ago. He and I are going to talk about all this more next week, but in the meantime, you might want to check out his post in this thread http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=713387.

Nothing is firm yet, of course, but it looks like some of what you're all asking for may be possible in the near future.

As I said, nothing is firm, and it won't happen overnight, but things are afoot.

Thanks dawsonbob for your work!

Your more than welcome. Gives me something to do for everyone in my spare time (such as it is).

As I mentioned before, things are moving, but it won't happen overnight. I will, however, try to get a few more things done for everyone to look at later this week.

The only news on this front is that there is no news. Well, not really, anyway.

I haven't talked to Ethan (or anyone else) for a couple of weeks, nor have I gotten anything more done on this project, because I got hit with different project.

One of my old clients called me up because they needed a lot of work done in a fairly short amount of time.

I said yes, so I've been putting in sixteen hour days, seven days a week for the last little while. Today I finished the first part of it, and sent the material off to a printer; the client should have his stuff for his trade show, and I'm now ahead a few dollars. I'm going to take a couple of days off before I start phase two, and I'll see if I can get some more Becker stuff done in that time.

That's the reason I haven't been around for awhile; I had some paying work to do and, lord knows, I need the money. I've only been coming to Blade Forums once a day to check on messages.

I should have let everyone know that I would be out of the loop for awhile.

Hey DBob,

Glad you reported in. I was imagining the worse because of your absence....but now we all know you were out workin' hard and makin' some money.
Just remember that Ethan runs on "Ethan Time".....And that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Hi, Toooj,

Yeah, I was feeling a little guilty about not reporting in, but time was not on my side (is it ever?).

Yep, I was working hard, and making a little money (I don't charge as much as I did before I retired). I have to say that I'm too old to be putting in those kinds of hours nowadays: darn near killed me, or at least it felt that way.:D

I'll be glad when I can go back to a schedule more like "Ethan Time" myself because, you're right, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Still, it was fun, because I got to do some 3D illustrations like the one below. It's been awhile since I got to do any real 3D work. It was nice to keep my hand in, so to speak.

Best,

Bob
