I have been carrying the Mantis MK-3 Karambit for sometime now. I carry a knife for self defense purposes and a while back, decided to learn to use a Karambit. Its principals are not based on strength, but the ergonomics of the blade itself. After looking around for a good, yet affordable Karambit, I came across the Mantis knife company. I like many of their knives for the design and possible uses. So I chose the MK-3. Great, lightweight and really sharp. It fit perfectly in my hand. I am looking at the Chaos Folder now. Nice modern lines and wicked looking. Give them a look! Reasonable prices too.

Found this in What knive (or knives) are you carrying today? Moving to TGB&U with the rest of the Mantis Knives spam....

If they carry on like this TGB&U will become the Mantis subforum.

Kind regards,

Jos

Adam seems to want a free knife pretty bad.
He has more pseudo spam posts than anyone else.

and another piece of trash supporting a piece of trash.

Next.

Why aren't the spammers being banned or at least given an infraction? It doesnt look like adam posted anything besides spam.

Good question. Also, can someone please merge all these threads so we don't have to wade through all this crap when we look through GB&U?

The trouble with merging threads is all the posts get put in order of posting regardless of which thread they were posted in, so when you originally replied "I agree" to "I would never buy from a spammer" that ends up looking like you said "I agree" to "I WUV Mantis knives."

Besides, people should have the opportunity to see how many spam threads got posted.

True, but everyone has a right to try to get some feedback from people who own their knives and to boost sales. How do you think Benchmade and SOG boost their sales. All of you here posting about which of their knives you bought. I at least am giving my honest opinion of the knife and why I use it.

I have also posted about SOG knives in the past. My primary utility folder is a SOG Mini X-Ray Vision. I would like to get a free Chaos Folder if I can. And if I do, I will give my honest opinion on it as well; as I may replace my SOG for the Mantis.

Benchmade and Spyderco do not pay people to spam web sites. They have earned their positions in the industry by offering quality products and top customer service. This is something your militia "leader" might want to learn.

Son, your spiel is suitable for enriching lawns. I recognize professionally written prose when I read it.
"After looking around for a good, yet affordable Karambit, I came across the Mantis knife company."
and from your other literary opus:
"But more recently I have carried a Karambit folder. The hawkbill curve in the blade makes cutting a breeze. "
Either you are a professionally trained writer, or you cribbed those lines from someone working for Mantis Knives. Both of those are strictly commercial plugs.

Honest opinion? Nonsense. It's just spam.

You want a knife? Fine. I believe that. But don't expect us to believe the rest of this drivel. And your credibility for future posts is kaput
