More New ones from Case.

I'll be getting the following.

CHESTNUT BONE SWAY BACK JACK CV
CHESTNUT BONE PEANUT CV
SMOOTH BLACK G-10 PEANUT
SMOOTH BLACK G-10 BAREHEAD SLIMLINE TRAPPER

I was drewling over them earlier at my favorite dealer. They have some in stock. But I resisted the temptation. So far.

Nice to see some new ones in the lineup.

I will definitely be getting the Chestnut CV swayback jack, and the Chestnut CV stockman!

Well I've been asking for more handle choices with CV. Time to put my money where my mouth is. Gladly. :)

Looks good! Chestnut bone is one of my favorites. :thumbup: I'll probably end up getting a Sway Back Jack, but I'm sure Peanut fans are glad to see another offering in CV.

On a similar note, is this a new pattern? 005? as in 61005;

I don't recall seeing it before, or at least not in the last couple years that I've been buying Case... its seems squarer than i recall the 3-7/8" barlow being..

A lot of the new stuff does look good, more CV in Chestnut, a nice light green bone, and I'm having a heck of a hard time resisting the black G10...

Looks like the more square-handled Razor, but with a spear blade rather than a razor and pen blades.

I like the idea of that trapper with a thumb stud. Has anyone used one of these? Seems like it might be helpful for someone like myself, with arthritic hands.

Also...swayback desknives with sheaths. :) I'll get ya some pix today...maybe.

About time, and good to see. Wish there were more single-bladed choices. Never happy... :grumpy: ;) :D

I do like more CV options. Will pick up a model or two and buy several for gifts. :thumbup:

In the printed Case catalog it says this on the Chestnut bone/CV page: “You’ve been talking and we’ve been listening. That’s why we’re introducing this new family of knives. Our customers told us that they were looking for more options in the traditional chrome vanadium steel so we’re offering eight new patterns.”
