My new CV Swayback finally arrived, and it's a beaut. Capt. Carl- you'll be happy to hear- I have zero blade play on either blade. This is a wonderfully-made little knife. The jigging on the bone is nice and crisp, the dye is smooth and even. All of the pins are perfectly peened. The backsprings are flush in all 3 positions on both blades. Bone to bolster fit is perfect. Honestly, if the parts hadn't been tumbled, I'd think I was holding a Schatt & Morgan. Trying to pick apart the knife and find something wrong with it, the only thing I can find is that the action on the pen blade is a bit sluggish. But I think it just needs to be cleaned. And the edges were only passably sharp out of the box. A few minutes of TLC fixed that right up. It's screaming sharp now.
This new chestnut-CV line looks to be a real winner. Great job, Case!
I'd LOVE to see the Swayback in yellow delrin and CV. Man, that would be the bees knees.
