More New ones from Case.

Anyone know when the Swayback is expected to arrive? I'm in for one when it does. :D

Yeah, those are some good lookin' knives.
The peanut is purty as heck. I'll get it once I have the chance. The swayback jack would be neat too.

Peter

I love the peanut. I don't have a chestnut bone peanut, and I feel a strong compulsion there.

I feel a knife purchase coming on!

I took a pic of their poster at Shot....

I have spot on my desk that just calls out for one of those desk knives! I like!

Thanks for the heads up Anthony!
That CV swayjack and peanut certainly got my interest. :D.

Man, I been drooling since last night. Btw, how is the main blade on the SBJ ground? Flat? Can't wait.

God Bless

Here is am email I got from Shepp Hills today on the Sway Back in CV.

((Frank,

Case has not gave us an expected delivery date for item 7007. I would guess we will get them in the next 4-6 weeks. Sorry, we don't have more exact information! Please let us know if we can help you with anything else!

Thank you very much for your interest in W R Case Pocketknives and Shepherd Hills Cutlery!

Lee))

That desk knife- yes please! If I can get my hands on one of those- it will see a lot of use. I am really digging that- you can't get much more elegant.

Just bumping this thread for a "heads up". Anyone interested in the new chestnut CV Cases might want to check Shepherd Hills. ;)

I just ordered a black G-10 slimline trapper from our local Case dealer. Just a month away.

I'll be getting the following.

CHESTNUT BONE SWAY BACK JACK CV
CHESTNUT BONE PEANUT CV
SMOOTH BLACK G-10 PEANUT
SMOOTH BLACK G-10 BAREHEAD SLIMLINE TRAPPER

I'm angling for the Peanut, the Swayback, and the stockman.

I like the idea of that trapper with a thumb stud. Has anyone used one of these? Seems like it might be helpful for someone like myself, with arthritic hands.

Mine arrived today. It's got the Old Red bone scales. I must say the quality is as quite good, as nice as my Northwoods or GEC knives; I think Case has been paying more attention to the QC side of things. (Maybe their stags will match better!).

I like the shape of the blade, too; very subtle clip instead of looking like a cutlas (like the copperlocks!).

I hope they come out with a liner lock copperhead; I like my Bokers but I think Case would do a better job.
