Thanks Lorien.
Well to be quite frank, we are pretty much surrounded with fire grounds. Thankfully the weather has decided to give the fire fighters a little break. We are hoping that it will continue. Having said that tomorrow does not bode well as the predictions are for the return of the winds gusting to 90 klm. We have been through this before and are as prepared as you can be. Anyone who has been through this can tell you its a nervous wait and see game and scary as all get out when it comes. Still we are much better off than a lot of others who have lost everything. Thanks again.
Cheers Keith

we're pretty surrounded by forest, and if we ever get droughted in a bad way, we'll be in a world of trouble.
All the best to you and yours my friend. Sure hope it's all good.
Maybe you can take some of that knife-making mojo you got and make a blade that chops fire!

Very cool thread. I have a question though... When you sand, do you always secure the sandpaper and move the blade against it?

Well done!

It looks like we must post the WIPs threads in this sub-forum now, mine was moved here too.

Hi Perrin, Glad you liked it mate. Yes I always use this method now, I find it much quicker.
Cheers Keith
