I am not anywhere near as organized as Therom, so this is going to be best guess.

Well, the Alox goes with me to work every day, and the Slack got carried quite a bit, so I can recycle this picture.

The Kizer/Gringrich GTi has been along for a couple days.

I've had the Bronze Ripple in my pocket lately, and it's been along some other days, so I think it counts. Also, it's hard to get the color right in a photo, and this is pretty good.

The Batum gets pocket time. Good enough.

I think that's about it. I'm sorry that I'm all over the map with this, but there really isn't any pattern to when or how I decide what to use on a day. I just look at what's on the dresser, and choose one I like. Sometimes I'll rotate a few out of the box, but there's really only about seven that end up getting carried more than a day or two at a time.

I had a drop point a couple years ago...like this one much better.
Yea I sold my drop point this year. I don’t mind a tanto. If I had to pick only one blade shape forever I wouldn’t choose tanto, but I don’t mind having one in rotation. Took a little getting used to for me but after that they’re fine. They have pros and cons just like anything else

That's the one Emerson design that really caught my eye. The only iteration I would buy from Emerson knives themselves and not a ZT or Kershaw version
It wasn't without it's flaws though.
Lock stick, lock over travel, and typical way too rough Emerson scales.
I had new Emerson standoffs, deep clip, and ti thumb "disc", so failure on this one wasn't an option.
Disassembled and carbidized the lock face and did a Scotchbrite treatment on the scales.
Reassembled with the new bits and it turned out absolutely perfect.
No stick, lock engages at a constant 30% depth every time no matter how hard it's opened and the scales are maybe just a little too smooth.
I dropped the angle on the edge a few degrees, stropped and polished a bit and this thing is a laser, so much so that I never hand this one to anyone.
I'm glad I hung on to it and did the work myself rather than sending it back for its issues, lot to be said about the personal touch and attachment.

How did you achieve that patina on the M4 Manix? Mine has rust spotted horribly around the pivot so I'm strongly considering cleaning it off and then forcing a patina. Badass scales, by the way.
Thanks. I used a variety of condiments initially. I ended up doing a hot vinegar treatment shortly after that. I used some plumbers sand cloth to give it a "brushed" finish.

I never worry about patina anymore.

The pic where I have the jade scales on is the day I got some ugly patina and went full on.

Hands down without a doubt my most carried is a Buck 110.

A coin toss between a SK Blades 'Smoke Jumper' 110LT and a SK Blades 'The Gentleman' 110 with NS bolsters and black G10 covers for which has seen the most carry days.

One or the other has been on my belt every day so far in 2019, the Smoke Jumper (RED for the holidays) will be on the two days left of 2019.

I think a lot of us have found the Sebenza is just the prefect carry folder. A large micarta is hard to beat. Small footprint riding in pocket, a clip with perfect double retention, blade shape meant for work. It's the knife I always come back to.
