Man of Colors, by Icehouse. My father is an artist, and a very talented one. He was a sign painter and did other types of graphic art up until the early 90's. Family issues and advancements in graphic media finally made it too difficult for him to stay in business. I still like the song, but it is a sad reminder of what it's like to have a chapter of your life come to a close.

18 An Life, by Skid Row. I had a cousin in North Carolina who fell in with the wrong crowd after she left home, and in 1994 a teenager was murdered by her friends in the home she lived in at the time. She was an accomplice, but our family has never found out how involved she was with the killing. Several adults (at least five) were involved with killing the kid, and all turned on each other in the investigation. Even after all were convicted, the police still didn't have a clear picture of exactly what happened, and who did what. My cousin spent maybe ten years or more in prison, but no one in our family has had any real contact with her since her release.
We have pictures of all of us playing together as kids. Remembering those pictures, and seeing the look on her face in her mugshot when she was arrested (she looked broken & absolutely terrified) brought me to tears.
