Most ever paid for a single Busse knife?

Well, I feel I'm in pretty good control of my addiction.

Why, I've never paid more than $1,250! [It was a custom ... and gorgeous ... what can I say??]

Mind you, I haven't moved up to Silent Knights, SHBMs, etc.

Yes and one was worth it!

I've paid over $1000 on a few of mine...

These two ran a pretty penny. ;)

I just realized that the most expensive knife any of us have is that first Busse.... and we are all still paying for it.  :p

You said it all there Tony!

I did pay $1000+ once for this NHV at Blade 07. Don't think I'll ever pay over that again unless its an older model.

$1600 & $2440 for the first MOAB.
Traded it to a Hog and paid full trade value to get it back.

I won't be doing that again!

All weapons are art - you just have to teach appreciation. How many of you have created displays to show knives as art? My kids all consider it art

I wouldn't sell the Chuckette' for $5000 bucks...

I find myself wondering out in the back yard several times a week to let her play with the trees..
About once a week I give her a warm soapy bath and feel the coating as it wears down exposing that smooth dark metal under her skin.
Today we got our first touch up with a ceramic rod.
Too many bite marks from the limestone she has bit several times.

I noticed a bit of a wire edge, will it chop off or do I need to remove it in another way?

I KNEW it!! I stumbled into a "millionaire's" knife club!

I feel guilt over the piddling $450 here or there, but in the words of Father Guido, "It adds up!"

I got my pic taken with the Chuckchete when he got it at Blade2004, & I think it was $2500 but I can not be sure! we were drinking!!:D
