Most expensive knife that you USE.

Black + Blue Handshaped G10 Mags and what is left of the arctic white blade coating. More effective chopper now than when it was new.

I use most of them, but it is hard to say which one is the most expensive. I have gotten really good deals on some so they cost less than others that I did not get as good of a deal on. Still others simply did not cost much to begin with, but I have invested a LOT in modification.

Suffice to say, I have invested a lot of time and money into knives and associated hardware, and I use 95% of them...and I use them pretty hard.

So a damascus blade basically doubles the cost of a Sebenza? Is there anything else that brings up the price besides the blade steel?

Attachments to the handle (Micarta, CF, wood) and inscribed detail work. (Pimpage)

Most expensive knife I had was a Arctic white SMF in 110V that was $700 or so. Had it for a year or so before I got rid of it to fund things that were more important.

That would be my Hinderer. I use it for anything and everything, and I don't baby it. I should take some new pics to show the new character marks it's gotten recently. I paid $595 for it.

wow i am cheap. for me its a griptilian. the microtechs, starbenza, higher end bms, busse, scrapyard r safe queens.

My most expensive user is this "Thiers" ti and bark mammoth ivory liner-lock from veteran South African maker (and damn nice guy) Des Horn, based on the traditional French clasp knife with the same name. I certainly don't beat on it, but it's great as a large elegant dress knife for occasional carry and light use. It feels just right in the hand, the high hollow-ground Damasteel takes a razor edge and the low-profile blade flicks open without a flipper or thumb-stud very much like striking a lighter.

1 question... WHY THE F**K DO YOU GUYS SPEND THIS MUCH MONEY ON KNIVES?!?!?!?!:eek:

Why is the sky blue? Why is the grass green? How does posi-trak on a Plymouth work?

Besides, you're on bladeforums, what did you expect? We be knife lovers and appreciators

And because, at the moment, I can't think of any guns I want or need, however, there are many fine knives that are on my list.
