most functional/useful SAK?

I agree with X39.My Huntsman was given to me by my wife in 1967 and I took it through a 13 month tour in VN and still have it! (Don't ever loan it out) It's just the right size and I carry it in a small sheath (but you can carry it in a pocket) It's just big enough but not bulky. All of the tools are functional and very useful(the saw is a real + in the woods, yes I have used the corkscrew and not just for opening wine bottles and the leather punch/reamer is invaluable)It has done everthing a knife can do (even field cleaned a deer once-the saw zipped right through the pelvis-when I left my fixed blade in camp) I prefer the Vnox and occasionly touch up all the tools with a 600 grit ceramic. I never go on a trip, both domestic or overseas, without it and it has saved the day many times. I have a coupla' Leathermans but other than needing pliers on occasion that little SAK is all that is necessary. Weldonk

It used to be the Classic, but then I discovered the Rambler (classic w/a philips screwdriver added). Now I carry the Rambler exclusively, but I still have three classics kept handy around the house.
The most useful item, IMHO, is the toothpick, of course.

Lately I've been carrying a black Classic every day and it's used all the time, and I use every feature except the key ring.

I have a lot of SAK models from small to large. I looked at a Rambler but for now just don't want to put aside the Classic.

Another nice small one (but bigger than the Classic) is the Executive. IMO the best 2-knife-blade pen knife is the Pocket Pal. Victorinox is absolutely one of the best production knife companies in the world, and for the number of knives they produce daily (about a total of 34,000 overall, I think), their quality control is amazingly consistent.

I like the Swiss Buck TaskMate II personally.
It has everythingI need and is indeed very handy.

Which SAK do you think is the most useful/functional/best all-around?

I like the Nomad, and the Explorer.

Explorer gets my vote. Magnifier and tweezers essential for sliver removal. (I've got kids who climb fences etc.)
