Just a conversation starter and no real valuable purpose. No desire to start any I like them or I don't like them comments I just thought a list of the industry's popular players would be fun to build. Open to still alive and in memory of.

The list I started:

Bob Loveless
Gil Hibben
Ron Lake
Ernie Emerson
Lynn Thompson
Sal Glesser
Chris Reeve
Rick Hinderer
Doug Ritter
Greg Medford
AG Russell

maybe not knife world strictly speaking, but this man here is quite famous and a very nice person to meet (he does tours and presentation days quite often around the globe)

Randall.

It's amazing to me how many non knife people I come across know about Bo and his knives/legacy.

Jody Samson

There are so many great makers, no doubt we would leave a lot out of such a listing, among those still making little pieces of metal out of larger pieces of metal, Mr Tony Bose rates right up there for sure.

Sal & Eric Glesser, Thomas Welk and CJ Buck to name a few. Lots of talent out there nowadays !

I like Fisk, he's cool... and apparently has some talent as a maker. ;)

I enjoyed interacting with Kit Carson, that was fun.

Rob Simonich was a good egg... was definitely a popular personality.

These folk may not be "popular" to you, but I'm downright respectful of 'em.
