Most rewarding thing you have done with BK&T this year.

Becoming a BH, #103.
Using my BK7 & BK9 exclusively during hunting season this year, for various cutting duties. Even though i did'nt see any deer.
Camping with all of the Beckers i own. BK2, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14.

Used my BK11 to dial Child Protective Services on my phone...

Just kidding.

trade actually has a baby shaving farm. It's all government subsidized and legit.
NASA uses the baby hair in certain indicators aboard a variety of spacecraft.
And man, when it's baby roundup time, you should see all those little boogers crawling as fast as they can.

I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled; and I make no doubt that it will equally serve in a fricassee or a ragout.

Mine was makin this here chair with nothing but my 7.

Like Mr Knife Kid, it was learning about Beckers from my son, getting my first Becker, a BK 11, becoming a Beckerhead, and looking forward to some more Beckers in my future:)

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Steve

My most rewarding thing this year was buying my first (bk14) and second (bk2). The most rewarding thing I've done with my Becker was the stick horses I made for my kids a month ago.

Today, I'm making feather sticks and starting fires with my son and nephew. Should be good times!

Other than that, the bk14 has been used to teach my son some bushcrafting and knife safety skills.

I polished, convexed and put custom Sh@rp scales on various Beckers this year, but by far the most rewarding use was the 30 days or so I spent with my 9 digging neighbors out from under tornado damage caused by the April 27 swarm-storm. Nothing like a major disaster to find out what your community is really made of. Or your knife for that matter. :D

Mine would be my first fatwood find not that great but it was a great feeling to find some after looking a few times.

Wow, where to start?

It's been really rewarding to meet everyone on here, and share ideas, It's been great to become a Beckerhead and challenge myself to learn more skills, and even teach a few of them. And It's been really nice to have a good excuse to hang out with DerekH, who first introduced me to the world of "black madness":D.

And I'd definitely be remiss if I didn't mention that going to the gathering and meeting/hanging out with "The Boss" himself (and everyone else!) is one of the best things to ever happen to me.

Thanks, everyone for fostering a great community built around great knives and great people.

During thanksgiving I cut down some firewood with my BK2 to fit my uncles outdoor woodstove.
It was great having all my daughters, and little neices/nephews sitting around watching me baton my way through log after log.
Then watching thier eyes light up after igniting the fire with my fire straw! Priceless!

Well I got my Remora for upgrading to Gold here on BF, and I did this with my KaBar...

If you look close you can see the waves from the serrations...I don't know if you could call nerve damage rewarding but ;):D
Didn't get to spend ANY time outside this year and I am really bummed about it but next year I am going to make up for it...

Bought a Companion to go along with my Brute... Oh then a 11 and a eskabar... these things are an addiction
