I keep reading about how that dulls the blade, any truth in that?

Probably have to go with the most 'rewarding' having a BK2 loaned to me and getting a chance to really work the knife over past few weeks. Giving me a chance to better weigh between rather I would like the 2 or the 7(ordered a 7 today actually).
Rough carved some spoons with BK14, pretty rewarding as well.
