Most You've Paid For a Fixed Blade

$120 for a used Junglas, but I have a custom belt knife on order that will be $200 though. I'm easy on my folders, but I actually use the heck out of my fixed blades so it's hard for me to drop a huge amount of $ on them.

$200 for a BRKT Aurora. It's my primary woods knife. I have several slipjoints in the $150 range, but that's an entirely different addiction.

$1025 for this unpractical safe queen :D

Believe it or not if you bought a similar one direct, it would cost a lot more.

About $225 for a Khukuri House Mukti after shipping.

Worth every penny too, its like a full sized axe chopping power in something you can use in thick brush.

50-60 bucks or whatever it was for a bark river necker. Plus extra for the scales. No, wait. I have a ceramic kitchen knife that cost around $100 + tax, but half of it was financed with a gift certificate from my sister. I have another nice kitchen knife, but I don't know what it costed. It was a gift.

Paid $xxx0 for this one, every other knife i have is less money :-)

If bayonets count, $35 for a 60's M7 and my Dad gave me a M9 a couple of weeks ago. Looking to purchase a nice fixed blade soon.

ESEE 5 with custom sheath about $145 for all. That I would say is the top end for me. If I buy a fixed blade it is going to get used.

My wife bought me a custom Damascus from the knife maker at Silver Dollar City a few years back, not sure what it cost but most of his knives start about $350 with sheath. Way too nice to use. It came in a custom oak box too.

Buck Hoodlum, can't remember how much I paid for it but so far it's the most I've paid for a fixed blade. May get an ESEE Junglas in the future though.

$150
Chad Nichols stainless "tuxedo" damascus won in a GAW. Custom designed for me by Dmitriy Popov of Australia.
My first custom. Good stuff. :D
