Motorcycle owners - What bike do you have, what do you carry and how do you carry?

My favorite bike love it

2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300. Easily the most fun I've ever had on 2 wheels. Went from a 09' Ninja 600 to a 09' Triumph Daytona 675 to Honda cruiser to this little beauty. I usually carry whatever EDC I have for the day in my pocket. Lately that's been a SOG Trident or a ZT 0651. Stay safe fellas!

Sardinian Resolza made by Senoir Osai and son, Pattada. Just stuck down in side pocket.

Was the KTM Super Duke, now the Triumph Speed Triple (which is a better fit for me)
current carry is my new WD Pease, right front pocket

The knife: Victorinox GAK Soldier in the tank bag, plus whatever my EDC is at the moment.

I have a 1978 KZ650, and a 2000 ZRX1100, both kawasakis.
I usually have a leatherman and a victorinox huntsman under the seat. I also have a small traditional of sorts in left front pocket.

Motorcycles have been a big part of my life for the past 50 years. For most of that time, I rarely carried a knife, but always had a few Opinels, a few SAKs, and a few Leatherman tools stashed on my bikes. I usually have a small Anza in my tank bag as well.

For many years, my tourers were airhead BMWs and a couple of Guzzis. Those bikes don't get ridden much these days. I spend more time on a well-used KLR650 and a Suzuki DR650. A couple of dirt bikes and some East European 2-strokes fill out the stable.

I've been riding, (right now I'm still waiting to heal from shoulder surgery) a vintage/old '85 Yamaha Venture, I call it my Road Sofa, with all the amenities of home if I want them and because of it's high center of gravity, for a touring bike it's still pretty agile and more than capable of the mountain roads or the straight aways for long periods of time.

Being it has two nice size saddle bags, a trunk and lots of leather pouches, I usually carry a Swamp Rat Howlin' Rat in the trunk, an SAK, Mini Champ on the key ring, a Leatherman Super Tool and a Cold Steel Large Twist Master in the front fairing bag.

A Taurus PT111 Millennium in a Kydex IWB holster. Finally in pocket is usually the small Sebenza 21 and what ever traditional pattern happens to have my fancy that day.

Here's pic of my bike from a few years ago, that's my daughter and her bf not me, I need a new pic. ;)

Funny how you come across old threads now when someone likes it and you get alerted. How weird is it that I was alerted to this post and 3 years almost to the month that this was made and I'm still waiting to ride from surgery to the same shoulder after yet another surgery. I got to ride 1 year before my shoulder took me out again. Talk about frustration, I wanna ride so bad it hurts, I tear up every time a bike goes by and weep. :(

Nowadays my bike sits in my garage waitin' on me to get strong enough to take a wrench to it again, it's frustrating considering I road all the time, everywhere all year long providing there was no snow or ice on the road. So the nearest thing to ridin' my bike is drivin' my tractor while cuttin' the grass. Wind in my face is wind in my face and if I close my eyes on the long straightaways I can almost fool myself into thinkin' I was on a bike. :). In that line of thinkin' I keep a Ontario SP8 and an Alaskan Knives belt saw attached to the tractor hood and usually a Leatherman or some other multi tool on my belt and lately a Koster Bushcraft knife gifted to me from a member here.

If you look closely by the mirror you can see the handle of the SP8 and the saw near the steerin' wheel on the hood. ;)

I currently ride a 1987 KLR 650, and so far my favorite knife to carry is my Ritter mini Grip with the stock clip(especially in shorts). It has super high retention, so much I actually have to lift up on the clip and slide the knife out of my pocket so if I'm riding in shorts it's as secure as I could ever hope for.

I've been trying out the Bradford Guardian 3 as a bike knife, but I find myself holding on to the handle to make sure it's still there more than I do with my Ritter mini grip. It rides beautifully at 11 o'clock, though. Very comfortable.
