Mountain Man Giveaway --- Winner Announced

Cool giveaway Dan.
This is not an entry, and I'm actually surprised I'm posting my pics here, but in the end, why not?
So....you said Mountain Man? This is one of the highest places I've been in my whole life (Titicaca lake, Bolivian side):

And, talking about big knives...are you sure you want to challenge me? :D

Thanks Ash. This is not an entry, but just putting a face to the name. I've come to know so many here as sort of an extended E-family, I just felt like unavailing myself. The photo was taken just recently on a morning scooter ride with family and friends. And I'm not that little a guy, they're standing on the curb and I'm standing in the street. :D

Carl.
Carl, you look exactly like I imagined you would. :) Also Vespas are great scooters. My brother had one, it was indestrucable, great gas milage and pretty stilysh. Too bad it got stolen.

Am I the youngest guy in this thread (24)? :D

Really enjoying putting faces to the names.

Wow, this has been a fantastic response from everybody! It's even more than I expected. It's wonderful to be able to put a face to a name and see who we are interacting with. Each time I've come back to check the thread it's put a smile on my face (and it's not just because you people are funny looking either:p).
:D

I would love to go back and make comments on many of the great pictures that have been shared so far, but if I did I'd end up with either one unbearably long post or I would add at least two pages to the thread. I'd also like to give a special thank you to those who didn't enter the giveaway but still wanted to participate.

I appreciate the compliments on the beard, but I'm not sure how much longer I will let it get. I've been thinking about a change recently and am undecided whether I want to just trim it, go back to the 'stache I had before it grew out, or just shave it off clean.

Thank you for the chance of winning such a cool knife. I´m in.

Here´s a pic of Mr. Humppa himself.

+1 Dan! It's been great to see everyone that's posted so far, and especially nice to see our moderators Frank & Gary, and our resident-story telling, peanut-carrying jackknife Carl.

Yes, there I agree 100 %. It´s always cool seeing the guys to talk to can set on a face. Thank you guys! Great idea for a giveaway!

Kind regards
Andi

To me, seeing the people at last in face, I'm going to bookmark this page for future reference. Very cool to get to know you all better.

Carl.

They caught me in the middle of a fishing story with this picture . ;) Great give away ! Thanks for letting me play along . Good luck to everyone .

Frank...I had to laugh at your first photo of you about to put your "little" girl in the bath...I too have the exact trouble...and boy!!...do you have to keep one firm hand on her...or shes out of there as fast as she can...when the bathing and shampooing is happening you would swear she is having some sort of asthma attack the way she breaths and moans and shakes!!...
Then its time to lift her out and get out as quick as possible to the front deck!!
What sort of dog is she?

If she's not an Australian Shepard, I'll always think she should be. They develop a lot of personality when they're raised as companions instead of working dogs.

Also wanted to add that it is really nice to be able to put a face with the name .

She's an Australian Shepherd / German Shepherd mix.
She has the markings of the Aussie and the size of the German.
You are right on the rest of your post, as well.

Thanks for the giveaway, I like the mods you did on the knife.

Here I am on an ATV tour on Kauai last year, at a bluff above a secluded cove.
