It's only ending the way you want it. You had an issue, ok we get it, you are unhappy with the delivery and shipping price we get it. People went out of there way to help you. And yet you go to another section of the fourm to cry about it so no one will see it? We hold her in high regard here, you are not dirt beneath her feet why would you say that. It comes to this, IMHO if you are unhappy with HI perhaps you should look to other places. But you can't expect us to sit here and just stand by and let you bash HI. People come and go here and some just don't get it which is perfectly fine, this place is more than a business to many here. Again enjoy your khuk may it serve you well.

I have gone to the post master in the past not for this

I had my mail carrier rip the door off 3 mailboxes in a row, (it was a new contractor and it was the entire street, her car was left hand drive and she was hanging out the right side window to deliver mail)and it escalated from local post master to regional to Atlanta. So, please don't get that out of context. and sadly the mail is delivered by contractors not postal employees they bid for the routes and its really a numbers game for them now because they have bid so low they take on multiple routes like paper boys making the circle with your news.

I was clear with auntie when I ordered it that I needed tracking, now there are lots of people here adding facts that were never offered before. Like Karda's post about things you may not know about HI, again stuff I didnt know. that tracking info didnt show up till today from her, not one minute before Sunday afternoon. I read page after page telling me how great they were and you get stuff so fast its like they are next door,(before I ever tried to purchase) and when I got a different experience I said something, and this is how you replied to that post.

my email was not the issue, it was directed to the proper account, and it was delivered or not delivered by whom ever maintains HI's mail not mine. There is no imaginary internet person you can call about an AOL account not getting emails. a broken URL link on a forum webpage redirecting email is not something I can fix or address from my pc, or you from yours, that is up to the person making the post and the URL redirect to their email account.

as I have said no fewer than 3x this would have never been posted if I had been given the correct tracking information even by Thursday or Friday.
I really don't know what else to tell you now. I guess you would rather never hear about a deal that got off track and just live a fantasy about it is always rite.
 
to cause trouble. the way his post are I would not want to deal with him any more. everyone makes mistakes. that is life get over it. This is at lease the way I see it.

I get it, but really don't need to beat this any more in public. I really don't need to push for a ban, but I can sure see one coming
if this stays public and I really never wanted this much of this either.
 
One got the knife and is happy the other got the money and is happy too.
Now the rest of us get free entertainment.
Don't really get the issues but maybe I'm too tired or have experienced really bad stuff with FedEx which would put this USPS non incident into perspective?
Anyways, time to microwave some organic popcorn.
It's even more awesome with a load of black pepper mixed in.

Just to avoid misunderstandings (there seems to be an inflation of them today) the FedEx problem wasn't with Aunty. It was a bunch of packages from Amazon and other websites. But anyways not their fault only FedEx's

Beating the proverbial dead horse is not scoring any quality points for the OP. Here's some free advice ...

1) Walk away and enjoy your new blade.

2) When a cooler head prevails, post an apology on this Forum for comporting yourself in a disrespectful manner and letting your emotions get the better of you.

3) If you insist you are in the right, and feel you have done nothing wrong, please see #1.

Well on a positive note, this thread got me interested in a H.I. knife! You guys now have an extra person (me) to compete with for offerings

I don't think Yangdu knows how to ship slowly. Apart from the very occasional glitch at the Post Office end, she is the fastest gun in the West when it comes to shipping.

That's from my personal experience and from reading posts by many other forumites about their shipping experience here.

OP, Surely this can't be the first time in your life you realized the whole world doesn't revolve around you? Your posts, the reasons for it, and your attempt to bash HI are beyond petty! It's pathetic!

I sincerely hope at some point you realize how poorly this reflects on you. There's only one party in this thread that looks bad and it isn't HI or Auntie!

Just a note to all....including tim ;)

There is a Link Library at the top of the forum containing many facts one might need to know before and after purchase.
In the event that you have a question that is not answered there, my email is hugely in my signature for a reason. All are welcome to contact myself with any question. I'll be more than happy to assist you in a purchase in any way, answer any question you may have to the best of my ability.....as long as you can be polite and civil. If you cannot manage those two simple things then I highly suggest that you seek your khukuri purchases elsewhere. Auntie does not need the stresses of incivility in her life. She has enough stresses upon her just keeping this titanic undertaking afloat. I am here to deal with these type forum issues. If I don't respond within 24hrs (usually) it's because I am eating, pooping, sleeping or dead.
 
Might I suggest since we're just getting deeper and deeper and we should just stop digging maybe locking this thead.

The entertainment value will still be here but we won't be able to muddy the waters more than they already are.

If my postal delivery was so poor, I think I'd just get a PO box or move to where terrible things could happen to my mail. That said, your tone sucks, frankly. Sounds like a lot of good people tried to get your blade to you on yours terms when your real beef should be with your postal service. Maybe your post master isn't responding to your issues because of how you conduct yourself.
 
Ok guys, I have sat back and taken your shots. Nobody is perfect, and lord knows I am as far from it as you can get.
I know there is no point in arguing my points.
Gunz my issue is not my post office its the carrier that changes weekly it seems as they go broke because they bid the contracts so low to get them. You get a relationship with one, and they bid for 2 more routes and then sub yours to a new driver and you are rite back where you began again. Its mostly the packages that get abused the carriers feel like it cost them money to get out of the car and actually go to the door so they sling it an go. I have not made it a point to bother them lately, and that is also why they sling it an go because I have not complained in a few years, they used to bring to the porch and leave it where it was dry an safe. alas, Bartholomew J. it made me mad to just have my personal information laid out across the internet for anybody to read. Yeah the street etc is removed
but its still enough to tick me off.

I have no ill feelings with you sir. You like me, made a poor decision on what to post on here and how you said it.

Perhaps my response went to your junk folder too?

For the huddled masses here we're fine, when someone disrespects Auntie intentionally or even by accident it does bring out the want to stomp somebody attitude in me, I make no apology for that. However my stomping days are pretty much over. And the urge to stomp rarely evolves into a genuine stomping.

In case my response didn't get through I'm not coming down. I don't fly, I'm in a wheelchair and hold no ill feelings towards you at all.

Also I never saw nor did Auntie ever provide your address, I could care less and I seriously doubt she would do that, really!
 
For what it is worth. The tracking on UPS and USPS websites is virtual not actual. I had a package supposedly waitng for pick up at my PO Box on Sept 14. The thing didn't actually get there until Oct 12, same day I got my sword from Auntie that she shipped on Wednesday.

And yes it pays to befriend your local postal employees.

Lol.. The Street is removed but you live in Labelle. Chances are you are surrounded by thousands of migrant workers wielding Khukuri's and riding through town in old school buses. But, who am I? I live 1524 miles from Labelle. If they (Auntie supporters) come for you, I suggest you take a stand at Fort Denaud, and hide behind the chimney......lol I will come rescue you via the Caloosahatchee River, providing the bridge is opened up.

For what it's worth, my town and State is posted in all of my posts. Look top right.

it was never a complete address just the city,state and some pretty direct pointers in my particular area, that I over reacted over, but that is for Auntie and me to work out.

we're good, my second reply to you was just clearing up a point, we are fine. Honestly never expected you were hopping a plane an coming to Florida, at least not till there is snow on the ground there, we get lots of snow birds here. Auntie got her own email to her directly, and that is that, its not for here. If she feels the need to post it she can, if not as far as I am concerned she and I are good as well.
 
I'm within driving distance (less than 2 hours), but I promise not to come unless I'm invitied :thumbup::watermelon:
