Movie knife spotting

SOG Pentagon and Seal2000 in Kurt Russell's "Warrior"
SOG Pentagon in "Kissing the Girl"
SOCOM? in "Replacement Killer"

Hey, what kind of movies am I watching?

Spyderco Police was used in "The Avengers" to try and kill Uma Thurman and again in "Jennifer 8" to threaten her.
Patrick Swayze used a Delica briefly in "Black Dog."
I saw a Gerber Applegate-Fairbairn folder in an episode of Unsolved Mysteries...also I think a Boker one-hander in another story.
What are the knives in "Virus"? I know one looked like a small stockman pocketknife. A couple other knives appear and disappear like a flash.
In "Martial Law" Sammo Hung uses a Swiss Army and Louis Mandayor once used what looked like a Spanish Aitor(?) folder.
This really is a fun thread.

Which knives were featured in "Mission Impossible"? Knife at the beginning looks like a Halo? Anyone know?

Hi!
As most people where I work do know I am a knife-nut they asked my a question I could not answer, so I pass this to you: Did you recognize the knife used in the movie Mission Impossible by Jean Reno?
I really hope we can find the answer.
I think it was made for this movie.

Bill Bagwell had a very small part in "Things Change"? the movie with Don Ameche where he is a shoe shiner and a ringer for a Mafia Big shot. Joe Montega was in it also I think.Bagwell played a Don presenting a Bowie to another Don at a meeting.

I've been wondering for a long time what kind of knife Cruise drops while hanging from his harness in the computer room? Anybody know?

The only good thing about the last Highlander movie was a closeup of a Jose DeBraga folder used to open up a coffee creamer by the female lead. I can't remember the actress or the movie title. I've tried to block that movie (and all the other Highlander movies, except the first) out of my mind because it was so disappointing.

Keep Em Sharp

That thing in "Mission Impossible" drives me crazy. It kinda looks like a solid metal fixed-blade in the shape of an open Buck 110, with a black coating. At least that's how I remember it. I can only say I have no idea what it is, but I'd really like to know!

I seem to remember someone mentioning that the Mission Impossible knife was a Boker model...possibly a Delta??? Damn...now I am going to spend the rest of the day trying to figure this out!

The knife in Mission Impossible is indeed a Boker, according to a collector friend of mine, but I forget which model -- and I think he said it was modified from the production version, at that.

Razor

Pacific Cutlery (I think) Balisong in "Streets of Fire" and some kind of Spyderco in "Point Break" (bad boy uses it to cut the leash on Keanu's surfboard.

What about the Big Bowie from Crocodile Dundee movie. It looked like it had a stacked leather handle and a slight blood groove and it was BIG. Does anyone know were it came from?

I seem to remember seeing an Al Mar woodsman bding use in an old Streets of San Francisco episode. Could have been a different show. I distinctly remember it being used by bad guy to stab through abus seat and dispatch some poor slob.

What about the CS tanto Jeff Speakman use din one of his movies. Can't remember the titile but it involved some chemical weapon scenario.

"Shoot to Kill" with Sidney Potier and Tom Beringer, he has a Gerber BMF strapped to his rucksack, and uses it to prepare the "rat" they eat. Coolest movie knives? Of course the Lile's in the Rambo movies, and the Crain's are cool in Predator and Commando, but don't even try to order one.

Man you guys are sharp!!!!!
What knives in Exposure...
What about Switchback>>>
Lets have some more Im gonna rent all these videos...and look for knives ...
Yes Im a nutt!!

The Crocodile Dundee knife was a custom job by an Australian maker; I'm afraid I can't recall his name. The knife in "Broken Arrow" looked like a classic Loveless drop-point with black micarta handles, so it could have come from just about anywhere (maybe from the great one himself?)

When I saw Mission Impossible, I thought I had the knife pegged.
It reminded me immediately of the Boker Delta lockback, which has
a Ti handle and ceramic blade, but it's not. Very similiar, but not it.
Is it a fixed-blade ? I think it's definitely in the family of the Boker
Delta.

Our ABC network affliate elected to NOT show Mr. Murder....Grrr....

If anyone taped it, I'll pay for you to ship it to me!

I remember seeing a Benchmade 45s in Tales from the Crypt, Deamon Knight used several times.

Sincerely,
Adam
