I looked it up so I'm not gonna say what movie it is from, but I am gonna say that it was an awesome (cheesy) movie and I thank you for reminding me of it. In fact, I just ordered it from Netflix, as I haven't seen it since it was in theaters...:D:thumbup:

Yep - great cheesy film. I love 'em, my wife hates 'em! I can hear the "you can't get enough..." jingle in my head right now!

A few more clues for it:

It was released in 1985 (US), was written and directed by Larry Cohen and had the tagline:

"Are you eating it ...or is it eating you?"

... Do I get another go if no-one gets it ? ...

Okay! Okay! It's THE STUFF!!

Ivan Reitman ans Larry Cohen must be inbred brothers from different mothers. The Stuff was as bad as Evolution - or vice versa- (whichever's worser). Tried to watch both of these a coupla times. Time to reboot the visual memory cortex again - these just won't go away.....:(:D

Thank you, sir! And don't get me wrong about your movie quote. I love a cheesy film as well and The Stuff had some classic cheese lines in it.

Check out any of Tim, King of the B-Movies, Thomerson's movies for some great aged cheese. Cherry 2000 with Melanie Griffith and Tim is a fine American processed cheezer best served with a case or two of Newcastle Nut Brown Ale for balance.

The movie was nominated for the Edgar Allen Poe award for Movie of the Year when it was released. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. And the blonde won a Golden Globe for Most Promising Newcomer.
