Just received the box from

Thank you for making the box better. It is my goal to continue to do so. I’m honored to be a part of this tradition on the Porch. I have a couple goals with my turn. 1) I want to leave this box in better shape than I received it. 2) I’m not trying to make this political but I’m culling all the cheap Chinese folders. I don’t really want to get into it but if you have a problem with it then you win the box and do as you like.
I was not a part of this community when this box was in its glory days. I’d like to try and restore this to what it once was. If you want to be in for the next round make sure you qualify and post that you want to be in. I am carrying over the entrants from the last round.
I highly encourage you to participate and keep this box clear of junkers. I’m not pointing any fingers but you know what I mean. Sorry not sorry
. There is a wide range of fine knives in this box at every value. My wish is for most people to do one for one instead of 1 really good one for 20 meh knives. At the end of the day it is up to you and this will not be policed. Honor system is in effect.
The Rules:
• Be a member of the Porch (minimum 50 posts to the (“Traditional") forum.
• Post "I'm in”
• Paying members of BF only.
If You Win The Box:
• When you receive the box, take any number of knives and replace them with knives of equivalent (or greater) value.
• Then, hold your own GAW to keep this fun Porch tradition going. Take and post photos!!!
• Post a link to your new GAW thread in this thread.
• Pick a new winner and mail them the box.
Post if you want to be added to the list!!
I will let this run its course and pick a name out of a hat on 22 June @ 9pm

This is what I received.
My son was so excited to open this box!!! I told him he could pick any knife out of the box. Like a 6 year old would do he picked the big bright one
. He went for the Yella Sodbuster. A fine choice if I say so myself. Little did he know he is also getting these 5 Chinese produced folders. Needless to say he was over the moon.
As for me I knew I wanted to only take one knife and truly told myself not to take the beer scout. When I found out it was the exact one I gifted to
JonMcD
last year I felt it was fate to get one back. It will be my one personal knife to remember this event by.
The Cull
This is what I am adding to the Box. I told my son that if he takes one out he needs to put one in. He decided to give up his nice Otter sodbuster. A fair trade for the yella sodbuster.
I am including these 4 GECs
735221. A fine larger sized knife in like new condition with tube
143223. My way of partially replacing the beer scout. Like new condition with tube.
661210? Not sure what year. The knife is packed already. I know it’s older.
394124. As many of you know…I’m Spey crazy. Only felt right to include one from this current run.
And of course I included a Sheffield lamb. A nice IXL. What kind of Guardian would I be if I didn’t include one.
My son with his new haul!!!!! Happier than a pig in you know what. Excuse the mess. The kids play room is in shambles
This is what is going out. I do hope we get some more participation. Please join in on the fun!!!!
