I may be an old curmudgeon, but I wish the modern knives weren't gaining in popularity for this GAW.

Not that I don’t agree with you, but most oldies hold some kind of sentimental value. So I kinda expect more modern to take over.

It makes sense to keep it traditional in this forum. A similar GAW could be created in the general knife forum.

In regards to the inclusion of modern knives I would vote that what’s there is there but no more be added.

Those are 2 of my additions...
Has anyone found the knife pick useful? Some of those had some pretty stiff pulls.

It is an excellent thing, my family has enjoyed it immensely... Amy (my better half of 14 years) and I keep watching this since I first entered, and my kids both are enjoying the knives I let them pick. Even though my daughter.is only 2 she knows which one is hers and always points it out. Very grateful for the opportunity to participate!

myself, I did not try it out. I've never used anything like that before.
