BTW. perfect grinds as per usual.

Thanks, Sal and team.

I've been looking for these for a long time. I seem to recall they were pretty high on the most wanted list.

Once again Sal and the Spyderco team has looked out for us steel junkies. :)

Maybe someday we can get a folder in this steel.

The Superleaf would be my first choice in this steel.
Compression lock + Ergonomics + Super Blue steel = Instant Win!

How 'bout a Caly3.5 with an odd G-10 or CF scale?

To be honest I have an order with a Spyderco dealer as a just in case for "anything made in Super blue that folds". He's a fellow forumite and great guy.

And you never know!

Sal, it may be a long shot but I would kill for some kitchen knives with this steel.

Thanks!

I'd contact Tom Berry the minute I hear preorders can be taken

He's the one I put a "just in case" pre order in for any Super blue, or 3V folders Spyderco produced. I just looked up the date I mailed him re: these steels and it was back in april of this year.

I'd guess it was shortly after I heard there was a Super blue mule coming.

You have to be quick nowadays. :)

Are these in the Golden factory store? I was just in there a week or so ago and only saw the M10.

I held off on the mule because I remembered Sal posting that the minimum order of steel was too much for just a single run, and they'd need to make something else.

For Japan made models, I'd also like the Stretch, Lum, or Persian. For legal reasons, the Urban so a larger audience can carry. And the Moran if we could get another fixed blade with handle and sheath out the box.

I should be getting the Mule Team in Super Blue soon, and I would love a Caly 3.5 in Super Blue. This thread is really making my day. I have a large Gyuto (Japanese Chef's knife) and it is a great performer, I can't wait to see how Super blue does in a smaller format.
