Murray Carter is a stand up knife maker...I ordered a pretty pricey training knife(the wife's b-day gift for me) on a whim last night thinking it could be heat treated and sharpened and unfortunately i was informed it could not be. Murray clearly stated on his site no refund on the item since it was on sale...However Murray allowed me to purchase another knife and issued a full refund on the training knife anyway...I screwed up and he went out of his way to make things right..Now that's service with a smile. This is going to be one great b-day...

no not camo spam i made a mistake and he was nice enough to provide a refund, that is very rare these days. one usually gets charged a restocking fee or no refund at all. Now i just wanted to share my experience and thought my fellow bladeforums member would appreciate it. Trolling is not necessary.

Nobody is trolling but we are sensitive to "coincidence". Three people have commented recently on a knifemaker who doesn't get mentioned here often.

While he certainly deserves the mention, we do have a right to wonder why so many just now.
