Metal, tribal, and progressive, what more is there? I love it!

I'm an old fan of speed metal, a little SOD will wake up a tired brain. I still have the cassette and pin I got in the mid 80's, good stuff. but very VERY rough.

I resemble these.
I've recently rediscovered Austin City Limits, and Backstage Pass on PBS, and you would love Woodsongs on PBS as well. The series they did in the cave was phenominal! I love bluegrass!

Haha. Song terrorism as one comic calls it. When I worked with a guy, we discussed songs we hated that got stuck in our heads. Every once in a while, I'd sing a verse or two and laugh the whole day as he hated me :D

Now that we are chatting about this, Hank III fits the bill for just about any mood. His country is good for hackin' and a jabbin' and his metal puts all others in the back seat (IMO). Choppin' music, if you will. If the newer Christian music were the angel on my shoulder, Hank III would be on the other shoulder.

Funny! I occasionally turn the radios in my co-workers rigs to religious Mexican radio at full blast. I shut down the shop after night shift, so I think they've started to figure out is was me. Song terrorism can be fun though.

As of lately I've been on an Outlaw/Alt. Country kick. Stuff like Steve Earle, The Old 97's, and Dwight Yoakam as well as Marty Stuart and Hank 3. Also love good 60's rock at the moment, like Jimi Hendrix, The Kinks, Doors, and Allman Bros. I can't stand contemporary music in general. There are a few good guys and gals out there, but as a whole the stuff doesn't appeal to me in the least bit.
