Music choices at Busse

Cold Chisel
Jimmy Barnes
Diesel and the Injectors
Jace Everett
Divynals and
Genesis are loaded in the car stero just now.....

I have to be careful just what I play as I have discovered that there are several albums that will increase the speed I drive...;)

Seriously....thank you for the introduction to Volbeat!

Rock has suffered since the end of the 90s!!!!

A little different than Volbeat, slightly unusual so maybe not to the tastes of the more traditional Metal & Hard Rock fans, but I like it:

I am typically not into Death Metal, with a few exceptions:

Who knew I was going to get a musical education with my Busses? Good stuff! There's just sooo much out there now.

For a change of pace, check out the Gansta 'Grass that Mike Snody posted - who knew?

If you haven't heard him yet, Joe Bonamassa! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBgNuP86BNk New "old school" at it's finest!

When I used to paint in college and no one else was around to complain about my music, I listened to a cocktail of Bob Seger, Waylon Jennings, Sammy Kershaw, Jerry Reed, 3 Doors Down, Aerosmith, Joe Walsh, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Jimmy Hendrix, 3 Dog Night, The Guess Who, BTO, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, The Doors and other classic rock and country (especially Waylon and Jerry Reed, used to listen to the same music and blast it in the weight room, screw rap just some good ol honky tonk music was all I needed to lift :D).

Since I don't paint anymore, I listen to the same stuff when I'm reloading.

Not a bad choice, but I could see myself rocking my face off then having a slip on the grinder and then slicing my face off

Korn isn't a bad option either, or Godsmack.

I'm really liking the new Flogging Molly Album…….

Classic rock, blues, any good guitar playing, and a little bluegrass now and then to mix it up.

I'm a huge hard rock fan but as I've gotten old, I've learnt to appreciate a lot of other music.

Some of my faves
KISS
Pantera
Gwar
Motley Crue
Type O Negative
Life Of Agony
Saigon Kick
Blackmore's Night
Poison
Slipknot
Disturbed
Godsmack
Nine Inch Nails
Metallica
Ugly Kid Joe
Static X
Danzig
Stone Sour

My fave album of all time? That's Easy, Appetite For Destruction.

Did you break into my iTunes? Danzig is at the top of my list and you forgot Faith No More, Ministry, Front Line Assembly, and Tool. I won't bother mentioning the Death Metal, Doom Metal, Grind Core, Black Metal, etc…..bands I listen to regularly.

TEXAS COUNTRY: Old and New
Merle Haggard
Willie Nelson
Waylon Jennings
Dwight Yoakum
Cash
Strait
Robert Earl Keen
Charlie Robinson
JB and the Moonshine Band
Josh Abbott Band
Granger Smith/Earl Dibbles Jr.
Aaron Watson
Kevin Fowler
Cody Johnson
Stoney Larue
Whiskey Meyers
Turnpike Troubadors
Justin Moore
Reckless Kelly

Throw in Bluegrass, Classical, a bit of rock, traditional Christian hymns, some Bagpipes and Irish music. But most of what I listen to has fiddle, guitar, and a backbeat involved.

Flogging Molly isn't as bad as some make it out to be. I'd gladly listen to them all day :) Great musical choices in here

Every time I hear Robert Earl Keen or his music I think of Jerrod Neimann's version of "The Buckin' Song"
