Oh, the fun of BF discussions! I have been away too long . . .

Before I can give my answer, I need to qualify with the assumed requirements:
  • Provide specimens that can represent major points in CRK product history
  • Choose an initial 5 that aren't to difficult to acquire (you don't want to be waiting years to acquire these things -- that too darn painful on soul and pocket book), with each being able to be switched out with a more significant model to evolve the collection.
  • The 5 piece collection does NOT include your EDC/users, which incidentally, should be a Sebenza, an Mnandi, and a fixed blade of your liking. :)

Okay, having said that, my 5 slots would be filled by:
  1. Any knife from the One Piece Range (my specific choice would be a Shadow IV) -- this is what put Chris on the map, and has not been equaled to this day.
  2. A unique graphic Sebenza -- The Seb is what made Chris famous, was the first instance of his invention that is so widely copied, the integral lock, and sports the UG artistry that he invented. Later, replace with a UG that Chris created himself.
  3. An original style Mnandi -- still best-in-class in the gentleman's or lady's folder market under $1000. Later, replace with a mammoth ivory inlay fitted with a damascus blade.
  4. Umnumzaan -- introduced the next generation of the RIL. Not sayin' I like it, but it's a major shift in history.
  5. A Reeve Harsey military knife (my specific choice would be a Neil Robert Warrior, but a GB would probably be more appropriate). Commemorating Chris and Bill being selected as the premier modern military knife makers on the planet. Later, replace with an actual Yarborough.
